Set up BrickVPN in four steps

From installation to your first connection usually takes less than five minutes. Your config stays in the panel and is never emailed.

Install the app

Download AmneziaVPN for your system from the official store or from our mirror.

Add a device

Open “My devices” in the panel, give the device a name and choose a location.

Import the config

Scan the QR code with the app or open the downloaded .conf file in AmneziaVPN.

Connect

Tap “Connect”. The tunnel stays up until you disconnect it yourself.

Guide by system

  1. Install AmneziaVPN from Google Play or download the APK from the mirror.
  2. In the panel, add a new device under “My devices”.
  3. On your phone, tap “Open in AmneziaVPN” or scan the QR code from a second screen.
  4. Confirm Android’s VPN request and tap “Connect”.
App for Android
  1. Install AmneziaVPN from the App Store.
  2. Add a new device in the panel, ideally on a computer.
  3. Tap “+” in the app and scan the QR code on the screen.
  4. Allow the VPN configuration to be added and connect.
App for iPhone & iPad
  1. Download the installer from GitHub or the mirror and run it.
  2. Add a device in the panel and download the .conf file.
  3. In AmneziaVPN, choose “Import from file” and open the .conf.
  4. Click “Connect”. Windows asks for administrator rights the first time.
App for Windows
  1. Install AmneziaVPN from the App Store.
  2. Add a device in the panel and download the .conf file.
  3. Import the file in the app via “Import from file”.
  4. Allow the VPN configuration in System Settings and connect.
App for macOS
  1. Download the installer from GitHub or the mirror and run it.
  2. Add a device in the panel and download the .conf file.
  3. Start AmneziaVPN and import the .conf.
  4. Connect. The system asks for root rights for the network interface.
App for Linux

If it won’t connect

  • Check that your package is still active. Expired configs no longer connect.
  • Switch the device’s location in the panel and import the new config.
  • Turn off other VPN apps; they can block each other.
  • Try another network, such as mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, to narrow down the problem.
